BOHO CHIC


Boho Chic was my mission this time round. The sun has come and is shining upon England for once and it's finally feeling like summer! NAVO has been a personal fashion blog i've created only two years ago and it has grown immensely; visually and on a personal level. When starting this blog I wanted to recreate images, scenario's and even the usual outfit's and make them my own.

The striped off shoulder top, paired with flowy coulottes and a bold vintage statement necklace are just some of the specific details that make's up the genre of 'Boho' which I have been inspired to include in this outfit.  This outfit can be worn with both heels and sandals. The Bohemian trend has always been present but has always been evolving especially with jewellery. The trend personally I believe suits everyone because it's flexible; whether it's fitted clothes your into, or mixing patterns and fringes with flared jeans and tops, the trend is suitable for anyone.

However society has associated the bohemian trend as mostly festival attire. As much as the bohemian look is very much suited for festival's, i've always believed one trend is not just for one occasion. This brings me onto one's personal style; because that is something completely unique and personal to very individual and it's important to make whatever trend your interested in; your own.

LOB - Long Bob.  For the longest time I've wanted to cut my hair. After having long hair, I wanted to go back to my roots, the all natural black hair. I had experimented with my hair almost every year, from an ombre to having blonde streaks. Therefore this time I wanted to experiment with another style, so the past summer I reverted back to the trendiest hairstyle there was this year, the LOB. I personally feel as if short hair suits me better than long. It's an easy hairstyle to handle and play with, and it gives a fresh look. The Lob has to be my favorite hairstyle which I will most probably always go back to in the end. It's funny because we all have our own preferences, and strangely enough I feel the most comfortable and 'myself' with short hair. What's your favorite hairstyle? Lourdes xo
