Resort 2016 : Rachel Zoe

Rachel Zoe. The uber stylist, reality star turned designer definitely deserves some props for her new resort 2016 collection. The fabrications were amped up and the collection is filled with mix patterns and lush fabrics (satin blouses), giving the collection a nice mix. The collection was very much inspired by the signature styles of Studio 54 and the 70s bohemian glamour that is Zoe's famous signature.

Although what i really loved about the collection was how the collection was constantly changing. The collection first started off with a hipster/boho chic look and then changed slowly into 70s inspired outfits. Lastly the ending of the collection was a more sophisticated yet modern approach to the real life woman in reality today. The collection overall was 'Tres Chic' and the designs of Rachel Zoe came to life through a sophisticated approach.

The focus of the collection was definitely on the specialty items - a Burgundy fringed suede jacket, multicoloured furs, a metallic fringed jacket, silk and jacquard tuxedo jackets, etc. Even Zoe said herself "It's not the basics but the novelty items that people respond to the most."
I fell in love with this collection as it was so unique and many of the items definitely stood out. Nonetheless being a hipster junkie myself made this collection perfect for me and maybe even for you.
