NAVO

The past two weeks have definitely been a refreshing yet exciting time for me. It was a chance for me to visit the island that i was not only born in, but had spent the first few years of my childhood at. Not being able to visit the country for almost 6 years and becoming so invested in a different culture had made me forget so much about the place, certain people, even my mother tongue. Visiting Sri Lanka again after what seemed like forever meant a big deal to me. Because i knew i'd be seeing loved ones again and doing some exciting things, which i wont get to do in England; and the weather is also a major element I've missed. The worst part is leaving. When you grow an attachment to someone or some place, it's hard to accept that you have to leave and face the reality of work and school again. But as they say, all good things must come to an end at some point. It was a holiday worth having.  In the photos i am wearing two
